The invisible watermark is not removed

This tool removes the visible logo in the corner of an image or video. Google also embeds SynthID, an invisible marker woven into the content itself, and this tool does not touch it, cannot detect it, and makes no attempt to interfere with it. A file cleaned here can still be identified as AI-generated by anyone able to read that marker.

We state this plainly because it matters. If your reason for removing a watermark is to pass AI output off as something else, this tool will not achieve that, and we would rather you knew before you tried.

No guarantee of results

Removal quality depends on the file. A picture straight out of Gemini usually comes back clean. A file that has been cropped, resized, screenshotted, or recompressed by a messaging app may keep a faint outline, because the watermark pixels no longer match what was originally blended in. The video tool is beta and needs browser features that Safari and Firefox do not yet provide reliably.

Nothing on this site should be read as a promise that a particular file will be cleaned perfectly, or at all. Always keep your originals.

Healed pixels are generated, not recovered

The Touch up brush is different from the main removal. Where the automatic pass reverses the watermark arithmetic and restores the real pixels, the brush paints over an area using the pixels around it. What it produces is plausible invented detail, not the hidden original. Do not treat a healed region as evidence of what was underneath, and do not present it as an unaltered photograph.

Your legal responsibility

Whether you may remove a watermark from a particular file is a question about that file, not about this tool. Ownership, licence terms, the rules of the AI service that generated it, platform disclosure requirements, academic policies and local law can all apply, and they vary. We do not and cannot give legal advice.

You are responsible for checking that your use is lawful. Using the service to remove another party’s copyright notice, photographer credit or stock-photo watermark is prohibited by our terms, and doing so may expose you to liability regardless of what our terms say.

Honest labelling of AI content

Removing a logo does not make a picture less synthetic. Where disclosure is expected, by a platform, an employer, a client, a publication, a competition or the law, it remains expected afterwards. We encourage labelling AI-generated material honestly, and we would rather this tool were used to tidy your own work than to hide its origin.
