Terms and conditions
Last updated: 2026-09-18
These terms govern your use of Gemini Watermark Remover (“the service”, “we”, “us”). By using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. What the service is
The service is a free website that removes the visible watermark applied by Google Gemini and Veo from images and videos. All processing happens in your own browser. We do not receive, store or transmit the files you process. No account is required and no payment is taken.
2. Permitted use
You may use the service for personal or commercial purposes, on files you own or are otherwise entitled to modify. You may process as many files as you like; there are no limits imposed by us, only by your own device.
3. Prohibited use
You must not use the service:
- To remove a copyright notice, photographer’s credit, stock-photo watermark, news-agency mark or any other person’s or company’s mark from material you do not own.
- To misrepresent AI-generated material as human-made where disclosure is required by law, by a platform’s rules, by an employer, by an academic institution or by a competition.
- In breach of the terms of the AI service that produced the file, which remain a matter between you and that provider.
- To create or launder material that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory or that infringes anyone’s rights.
- To attack the site itself, for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, or by automated scraping that degrades the service for others.
You are solely responsible for the files you process and for what you do with the results. We have no way to review them, because we never see them.
4. Your files and your rights in them
You keep all rights in everything you process. We claim no licence, ownership or interest in your files or in the cleaned results, and we could not exercise one if we wanted to, since no copy ever reaches us. See the privacy policy for the detail.
5. Our content and open-source components
The design, text and interface of this website belong to us. The removal engines do not: Model One is gemini-watermark-remover by GargantuaX and contributors and Model Two is based on gemini-watermark-remover by Ishara Madushanka, both under the MIT License, whose terms travel with the code (Model One licence, Model Two licence). Icons are Uicons by Flaticon, used under their free licence with attribution.
6. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that a watermark will be removed completely, that a result will be free of visible traces, that the video tool will work in your browser, or that the site will be available without interruption. The video feature in particular is beta and depends on browser capabilities outside our control.
Always keep your original files. Treat every result as a new copy to be checked, not as a replacement for what you started with.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of profit, damage to files, or any claim brought against you by a third party in connection with material you processed. Because the service is free and runs entirely on your device, you use it at your own risk.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Third-party services
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and, on the video page, two open-source libraries from the jsDelivr CDN. It is served through a content delivery network. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control. Links to external sites are provided for reference and are not endorsements.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, without notice. We may also update these terms; the “last updated” date above will change when we do, and continued use after that means you accept the revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page rather than announced individually, so it is worth re-reading if you rely on the service.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
