Privacy policy
Short version: your images and videos never leave your device. Last updated: 2026-09-18
Your files are never uploaded
This is the whole point of the site, so it is worth being precise. When you choose a file, the page reads it directly from your disk into the browser’s memory. Detection, watermark removal, the heal brush and video re-encoding all run there, in JavaScript and WebAssembly, on your own processor. The result is handed back to you as a download.
At no point is the file, or any part of it, sent to our server or to anyone else. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to store, analyse, sell, lose in a breach or be compelled to disclose. Closing the tab discards everything. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool still works, which is a reasonable way to verify this claim for yourself.
What our server does see
Serving a web page requires a request, and requests carry some data. Our hosting provider and the content delivery network in front of it record standard technical logs: IP address, approximate location derived from it, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the referring page. This is ordinary server logging, kept for security, abuse prevention and reliability, and it is not linked to any identity because we hold none. It tells us that a page was served; it says nothing about what you did with the tool afterwards.
Cookies and browser storage
We set no cookies of our own, and we run no advertising or analytics cookies. The site does keep three small values in your browser’s own storage, which never leave your device and which we cannot read:
theme- whether you chose light or dark mode.markclean.model- whether you last used Model One or Model Two.markclean.tabScroll- a scroll position, so switching between the image and video pages does not jump. Discarded when the tab closes.
Clearing your browser’s site data removes all three, at the cost of forgetting your preferences. The content delivery network may set a cookie of its own for security and bot filtering; that is described in its policy, linked below.
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising
There is nothing to sign up for, so we collect no name, email address or payment details. We currently run no analytics package and no advertising network, which means no behavioural profile of you is built here. If that ever changes, this page will be updated before it happens and the “last updated” date above will move.
If you email us, we hold that email in an ordinary mailbox in order to reply. Please do not attach your files; see the contact page for why.
Third parties the page contacts
Loading the site involves a few external requests. Each of these providers will see your IP address as a normal part of serving a request:
- Google Fonts - the typeface used across the site.
- jsDelivr - on the video page only, two open-source libraries (mediabunny and onnxruntime-web) needed to decode and re-encode video.
- Cloudflare - the network that delivers the site and filters malicious traffic.
The AI model used for video cleanup is served from this site, not from a third party, and runs locally once downloaded. We do not control these providers’ practices, and their own privacy policies apply to the requests they receive.
Children
The service is not directed at children and we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone, of any age. Since no account exists and no file is transmitted, there is no children’s data for us to hold.
Your rights
Data-protection law gives you rights over personal data held about you: access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing. In practice we hold almost nothing that could be used to identify you. The exceptions are server logs held briefly by our host and CDN, and any email you have sent us. To ask about either, write to [email protected] and we will respond.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, which is required for the browser features the tool depends on. The strongest protection here is structural rather than technical: data that is never collected cannot be stolen from us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a new “last updated” date. Changes that affect what data is collected will be made here before they take effect, not afterwards.
